A few things

I took a few pics of the kids on the new couch...they aren't the best for "seeing the couches." I'll take that kind another day. We have to paint the walls too....to much beige in this room!
I FINALLY took a few pictures of the kitchen! They are a little dark, so the last image is the most true to life...as far as color goes. (sorry the pics are kinda small)

Eating like kings!! I made pancakes for the kids on my griddle, they were so pretty I took a picture. (i know- I am crazy) Wyatt says I should make them for breakfast everyday, and Talia says "pa-cake!"

Today was a perfect day. It didn't get very hot this afternoon. I let Wyatt make lots of MUD in the backyard and take all his dinosaurs out to get dirty. I just sat and read a book on the deck, and Talia slept the whole time. We all went to the lake this evening, the kids loved it. They have these little exercise stations set up along the path, and Wyatt loves to go to each one....well, now Natalia does too!

Update on the kids

Lincoln is Oregon for the week. We are just hanging out here for a few days. I want to go to the gym, but my knee is still a little bit sore.

Natalia's new thing is getting into the sink! She goes in the bathroom 50 times a day, and climbs up on the counter. It didn't used to be so bad, but now she can open the door...so there is no stopping her. Last Sunday, I had her all ready to go in her dress....then I found her sitting IN the sink with the water running!

Natalia is putting a blue necklace on a dinosaur right now..and saying "pretty pretty". What a girl!

We got new couches...it is a leather sectional....Natalia already wrote on them with a pen....WHAT THE...why couldn't she have done that to our old couches? (It is a very small spot, and we got the stain warranty)

Wyatt memorized the Pledge of Allegiance (some of you heard him), but at the end it would say "with liberty and SOUL for all!" He doesn't say it that way anymore.....but I thought it was so funny!

He is also full of the funniest questions lately. I need to be careful how I answer, because he remembers it. He asked "will we die with out water?" I went on and on about how our bodies need food and water, and how it is like fuel for our bodies...and yes, we would die without it.
The next day Talia wanted a drink, and I was busy making banana bread. Wyatt said "I'll get you one drink Talia, or WE ARE GONNA DIE ANY MINUTE!"
*****
I asked Wyatt to name me 10 dinosaurs...this is what he said...

Xenotarsosaurus
T-Rex
Allosaurus
Diplodocus
Toranodon
Euoplocephalus
Velociraptor
Ovaraptor
Stenonychosaurus
Wyatt- "Is that ten?" me-"no you need one more."
Gravitholus

I think that is amazing! Yes, I had to go get three different books...to check my spelling after he left. =)

I took the kids out to TRY to get indiviual pics of them for the wall. I failed! I did get this though. I think it is sweet.

I love this image...poor Cyurs! =)

Happy Father's Day!!

Here is what Lincoln got for Father's Day.

1965 Chevy Impala Super Sport

(This is what Lincoln got himself for Fathers day.....=) I really think he is a little nuts, but he has such a huge smile on his face that I just keep quiet.)

Baseball

Lincoln did cut down the tree...while I was gone on a photo shoot. =) It was a good session. Two little girls 5 and 4, and lots of personality.

Lincoln had a work phone call on Friday, so the kids and I went to the park. We picked up McDonalds on the way, and I ordered a Lemonade...like usual. They gave me an iced tea. I don't know how people drink that stuff. Yuck. Wyatt said "Don't worry Mom, we can share my chocolate milk." What a sweet boy.
We had our picnic, and then Wyatt wanted to play baseball. He could only hit it if he pitched it to himself, which was a good thing...because I wanted to take pictures anyway. Talia just kept wandering off. It was way past her nap time. She started towards the parking lot, and I hollered for her to come back, she looked back and me and signed sleep, and said "weep!" We left. =)

Our First Blog

Today we will be staying home and cleaning house for most of the day. Perhaps later Lincoln will cut down a tree.
