the polka dot dress
My Mom made this dress for Natalia. I had to get some pictures of her in it. She wasn't very corporative though. She also made her a yellow dress with butterflies on it. I wanted to take some pictures of her wearing it also. I found the perfect spot, a field of yellow flowers (probably weeds) with hundreds of white butterflies flying about. Natalia was spent, so we'll have to go back another day.

These are beautiful Jeri-so evocative. Your photos tell stories. I have memories of dresses my mom made for me. Just the other day we were in the temple together and I noticed that she had made her envelope. I recogized the fabric from the pinafore of the matching Hollie Hobbie dresses she had made for my sister and I as very little girls. It made me weep to remember my dress and all the work she put into it. I'm glad Natalia will have these wonderful images to help her know how much she's loved.
