Lucky
Last night at 4:30 Talia came in my room covered in throw-up. (Just typing that word makes me sick.) I cleaned her up. When I walked in Talia's room to clean up the mess, Lincoln was already done with most of it! The linens were off the bed, and he was spot cleaning the floor. I wiped off the WALL! I made her a little bed with towels on our floor, tucked her in, and crawled in bed. After putting the sheets in the washer, Lincoln came up stairs. He came in so quietly, and kissed Talia on the head.
Then I heard him say, "Let's say a prayer," to her. She sweetly agreed. Tears filled my eyes as I listened to them pray together. I was already so thankful for all the help I received in cleaning up the mess, put this put how grateful I was to a whole new level.
I am so lucky. I don't know many men that will willingly get out of bed to clean up puke. He has always been like this. I am so thankful for him, and all he does.
(He also made some wonderful chicken chili for us today.)

That is wonderful! I love when my darling husband does the little things that I am not expecting. One of my favorite things is watching the man I love love our daughter. Lucky for sure!
My hubby cleaned up throw up last night too! (Sophie's been so sick.) There must be something going around. Ugh. But yay for helpful hubbies!! :)
Yeah Linclon!! What a guy! I love that story, it makes me cry too. (however it just dawned on me that his birthday is comming up.... humm that could explain the getting out of bed for puke clean up) Just kidding, I know he'd have done it anyway. :-)
Nice job hubby!
Oh no. I do not like these kind of days. It is so good to have a companion that will share in the work. It makes a big difference.
Wow! Jake is WAY too afraid of puke.
