Title help please.....
I am submitting three photos into a photography exhibit at the Washington D.C. Visitors' Center. I finally have my prints framed, which was quite a fiasco. Thanks to my good friend Kortney, who let me come and cut mats at her home, it all ended well. I am so excited to enter my photos, and feel very confident about the images I chose. I hope my images will be chosen for the exhibit!
I am struggling with the titles for all three images. I have too many thoughts bouncing around in my head. I will share a few titles or ideas for each image. If you have an idea please share it with me here, or email me. I turn the pictures in tomorrow at noon.
The theme is memorable photographs depicting reverence, inspiration, and joy.
Sunshine for the soul
Long Awaited
Mother's Love

Heaven's Light
You're not alone
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. (I am not sure how to make a title out of this scripture.)

Sheer Bliss
Joy
"Push me higher, Grandpa." (??????)

As you can see I need help. I hope there are some night owls still awake! =) Thanks in advance!!!! =)

Nice work, Jeri. I would choose 1)"Sunshine in the Soul"-that was your original title for this image if I remember-go with your gut. 2)How about "Child of Light?" You could also try out simply "Not Alone" for this one. Both are derivative from the words that came to your mind. 3)I like "Joy" for this one. Nothing else is needed. Best of luck-I'll be thinking of you and waiting to hear the good news!
Ha - I might as well just copy Kellie's. I had the EXACT thoughts for each picture as I read your post. I liked "Sunshine in the Soul", "Children of Light" and "Joy" best. GREAT choices Jeri, and GOOD LUCK!!
I like Kellie's choices as well. The pictures are so beautiful. Good luck. I can't wait to hear how it goes.
I have no original thoughts. My only difference was that the last one I thought of calling "flight" kind of like the soul taking flightishy. But that doesn't quite fit. I like Child of Light, for the second, and I did think maybe the first one could have something to do with the child coming from God (to fit in with reverence) but I couldn't think of anything.
That first pic seriously makes me all misty - it is just so perfect the way that mommy is looking at her little one!! I love "Sunshine in the Soul" or "Glimpse of Heaven" was something that came to my mind, but I love your title choices! I like "Child of Light" too and Cami's idea for "Flight" is super cool on that last one. Those are just MHOs!! :)
OH! Thank you so much for your opinions!!! I really appreciate the well wishes, and will let you know how it goes! =)
I don't think I have ever been so excited. I don't want to get my hopes up too high, but I hope they display all three. =)
I am an old friend of felicity's, and I just wanted to let you know that I think you are an amazing photographer - I can only ever wish to be as talented as you!
