Jumping Bean
We looked up on the ultrasound screen, and it looked a little bleak. I couldn't see a heartbeat flicker, and I held my breath. As the technician looked around the baby jumped, and wiggled. She said, "well, I know it can't do that without a heartbeat," and then she located it. What a happy day. Lincoln came a grabbed my foot, and gave me a big smile. I feel very relived. I also wanted to thank you all for the prayers and well wishes. I felt so much calmer the day of the appointment.
I need to figure out our scanner so I can post the picture.
Oh, the heartbeat was 150, so my Mom said "it's a boy!" We shall see. =)

Congratulations! I am so excited for you.
fantastic! that's great news!
Great!! I love to see that little wiggle so soon. I remember having an ultrasound at 15 weeks with my first and thinking, "What? Did that thing just MOVE AROUND????" It was crazy. It makes it all very real.
Wonderful news, Jeri! What a relief!
Congratulations Jeri! Let me just tell you that your world is about to change! Remember.... mommies only have 2 arms! And when all three kids are throwing a tantrum in public at the same time and you have one kid under each arm dragging them out of the store with EVERYONE staring at you - and the third one is lagging behind screaming - YOU really wish then that you had 3 arms!:) But, it's
all worth it!:)
Great news, I second Aubrys comment, and once again, we disprove evolution, for if we really do evolve to adapt to our surroundings a mother would sprout an extra arm for every child past #2! I beg to differ with your mom however.... SHE (the little bean) was just triing to trick you. :-) She is just breaking way for Collin. :-) Hey now you are out of your first trimester maybe you'll wanna leave the house a little more insted of nap!!! LOL!! HE HE. See ya soon PS I went pro on Flickr! Check out my Gallery! :-)
Yeah! It'll be fun to see the picture of your sweet "jumping bean"!
Yay!!! I'm glad everything went so well!
