A Strong Heartbeat!
Well, here goes!
We are announcing.........We are expecting our third baby!
I had my first appointment today, and heard a nice strong heartbeat. =) I immediately started crying, because I didn't think everything was going alright. I have been such a pessimist this pregnancy! A constant worry that things were not going to work out, has been here since the day I took the test. I am still worried, so we are not going to tell the kids until we have a nice ultra sound picture to show them.
I have not been sick AT ALL. Not at all, I feel pretty normal actually! Sounds lovely doesn't it, well, it really hasn't been great. "Everyone" says morning sickness is a good sign that things are progressing well. That has been looming around in my head(and Lincoln's) for the last few weeks. I would pray for a little comfort to know that the baby was doing well, and wish for a sign of some kind. Then I would back paddle a little and think, "oh please, I am not praying to be sick." It really is an odd thing to go through. I have a few symptoms, but not many. I am 11 weeks along now, so I may not get sick at all. What a blessing! (fingers crossed)

Oh, tears sprang to my eyes! I am so happy for you, Jeri. You will be in my prayers that everything continues to go well. It must be so emotionally powerful to have heard the heartbeat. I'm so happy for you!
Oh Jeri! What wonderful news. I know the awful looming feeling in those early weeks when your brain and heart are duking it out. You think, "I just can't get my hopes up one more time to have them dashed." I am soooooo happy for you. Hang in there!
Hip Hip Hooray, Jeri! Congrats! I am thrilled for you the baby you planned your year around is a reality. You are a wonderful mother and this new little gal or guy is lucky to have you.

I have never had a misscariage, but through all my pregnancies, except my last, I have had bleeding. It terrifies me! I am always worried I am going to loose it. I understand how scary it can be. Love you Jeri!!
oh jeri, i am so glad! it's so hard after you have a miscarriage. it took me through most of my pregnancy with jared to really be happy about it because i was so scared, and i didn't want to open myself up. i will keep you in my prayers. that's just fantastic news!
Congratulations!!!! We are so excited for you all! I'm happy to hear you are feeling well. Travis is looking forward to seeing Lincoln next week. You should hop in his suitcase so we can play! :)
Oh yay! And there I was all worrying about you on Sunday in the mother's room. You little sneaky . . . I'm sure it will all be fine! Congratulations!

CONGRATS!! I am SO happy for you Jeri!!! I completely understand how hard this can be emotionally... But sounds like things are going so well and maybe you won't have any morning sickness at all! (How great that would be!!)
Wahoo!! FANTASTIC NEWS!! I am so pleased that you've heard the heartbeat and that all is going well - I'm sure that was SUCH a comfort. Three cheers for not feeling sick!
@Cami- You don't know how bad I wanted to tell you on Sunday. I had to wait until Tuesday, so I had some good news.

Congratulations! I hope you don't sick at all. I never got sick with any of mine, so it is possible. We'll have to start thinking of names for double points in Scattegories: Tammy Tidwell, Talulu Tidwell, Troy Tidwell, Ty Tidwell......
