Look who is SIX!

Today is Wyatt's sixth birthday. I can't believe so much time has passed. He is such a wonderful boy, and I am so happy that I get to be his Mom.

Wyatt was my 9 lb. baby.
He was signing and talking by the time he was 10 months old.
He learned the entire alphabet by sight by the time he was 18 months old. The ABC song came much later.
Wyatt has always been a very good eater. I used to feed him tofu for dinner, and frozen veggies for a fun snack. (boy..I have changed.)
When I was pregnant with Talia he was in LOVE with baseball. I was very sick and on the couch for days....he had me pitch a foam ball to him over and over. He would bring it to me and say "pitch", and he would hit it with a bat. He was pretty good.
When we moved to Maryland he was 2 and a half. He made a lot of messes! He got into a carton of eggs, and an entire B-day cake....both on the carpet. One morning Lincoln and I awoke to the sound of the doorbell. It was Wyatt! He had gone outside and couldn't get back in, thank goodness he knew what a doorbell was!!! He also locked me out of that condo when Natalia was a week old.....it makes me stressed out just thinking about it even now.
He is always creating and building. He says he wants to be in construction or demolition. Well, he used to say that. Now if you ask him "What do you want to be when you grow up?" He gets frustrated and says, "You said I didn't have to decide that right NOW." It's true...he doesn't. =)
He loves learning...and you have to be careful what you tell him because he'll remember it.
He loves being a big brother to his two little sisters.
He is super observant and super oblivious.
Three months ago we pulled in the drive way with two sleeping kids. Lincoln was carrying Talia in, and was going to come back for Wyatt. Wyatt woke up alone in the car, and got out. We were just to the front door when he screamed, "WHAT were you thinking?" I still laugh about that. You had to hear him, it was so funny.
Wyatt thinks this girl at school is so beautiful. I don't ask him about it too much, but he knows all these little details about her. For example, her earrings have four little hoops, skin about the color of mine, and her hair is like yours Mom. Oh, gosh...I can't wait to tease him about that when he is older. He loves to climb trees. Okay...our tree.
He loves Star Wars, Transformers, and Ninja Turtles.
He asks for Lobster every time I make a grocery list. When I tell him no, he second choice is fishsticks.
He loves camping.
He loves watch the food network. This kid knows his herbs! =) We also watch "How it's made" and "Unwrapped".
I let him have Poptarts for his birthday breakfast today. I can't believe how excited he was. You would think he was getting to eat a whole cake.
He loves kindergarten, and has come so far this year. He LOVES math, and can read so well. I can't believe the things they are teaching in kindergarten! Last week they started on money, and have already done fractions in his math class. He just loves it.

For his birthday dinner tonight we are having CRAB, fruit salad, and baked potatoes. For dessert he wants grilled pineapple with vanilla ice cream and homemade caramel sauce- instead of a cake.

Happy Birthday Wyatt!
