Snow balls + airplanes + petting a zebra = happy summer
We took the kids to the beach on Friday. Lincoln had the day "off", so we drove up to Gun powder falls SP. We all got in the water, so I have no pictures. Yes, you read correctly- We ALL got in the water!....Simone loved it!! It was so fun. On the way out of town we got snowballs. That is what they call a snowcone in Maryland. They were the first snowballs for the Tidwell family! =)

We have heard of the "airport park" from several friends for a while now, but finally made it there ourselves. We ate a picnic dinner and watched the planes land. The kids loved it.
Lincoln took these pictures of Talia on the slide! He had too much fun with my camera! =)
Simone liked the Airport park too.
We went to an amazing petting zoo with a big group of friends. It was such a nice day! We went on Hayrides, saw a pig race, fed tons of goats, milked a cow, pet little bunnies, had a picnic, met horses, and even got to pet a Zebra.
Yep. A Zebra at petting zoo. Pretty cool.

I must say, Wyatt is wearing the most perfect shirt for a snowball! It always seems my kids are in white when they want to have a snow cone...why is that?! And why don't they have maple bars back east. I could hardly believe it. When I went back to Pennsylvania / New York last year and asked at a donut shop for a maple bar, they looked at me like I was crazy. Yet, back east is where all the maple comes from, right??? Sorry, way off on a tangent, but I just don't get it. =)
That looks like an awesome petting zoo. And I LOVE watching planes land. Tried to take that family out to PDX along Marine Drive last month to do the same, but we just didn't make it. But your pictures have made me want to try again.
Kaylynn, I can't say for sure about the maple bars here....because I hate them! Now if I EVER see one, I will think of you! =)

This post made me so happy, Jeri! It is so much fun to see your cute family and all your "doings"! So cool that we both went to opposite coasts on the same day! Almost as good as going together...not quite! I love all the pictures! The waterfall swim sounds like a blast! I bet the kids loved it! Simone is so adventurous! I'm so glad you had a great time together!

Yay! I'm glad Simone got in the water. I am determined to go to a real beach this year and get everybody in. I already know Jane will love it because she LOOOOVES her bath. I love that smile on Simone! And great pics as usual.
I still have a present for you that SIMone is about to grow out of if I don't hurry!!
