If you clean it they will come.
I cleaned my house before primary meeting. Show ready. Then I came home, and got Talia off to preschool. The only thing left of my to do list was TAKE A NAP! I put Simone down, and I carefully lay on my bed. (It was made so nicely.) Then a few minutes later my phone rang and woke me up.
"An agent would like to show your home from 1:30 to 2:30."
I rolled over to look at the clock. It read 1:23.
Are you kidding me? I looked outside. Two vehicles were parked nearby. End of nap.

You were inspired, Jeri! I would be a stress case keeping my house show ready all the time! You make it sounds so easy...except for the toothpicks! :)
Your title makes me smile. Man, you're having to work hard to sell that house! All that cleaning and being show ready. It would wear me out.
You go, girl.....it's so hard, I know. The other thing is, I had my house so beautiful for showings that I was sad because I never made it that beautiful for just me!
Oh Jeri, I hope you get an offer soon! Just reading about all that cleaning makes me tired! You are welcome to come nap at my house anytime! We could put Simone in the pack and play, and you could lay on our bed, and Talia could play in the basement with Duncan-I am serious!!! Call me ANYTIME!!!
Rude. I thought they had to give 30 minutes at least. Argh.
Wow! That's just crazy.
