If you give a mouse a camera...

If you give a mouse a large supply of crumbs under the stove he will hide there and eat them.
Then he will want to go look for more so he will crawl out.
Then he will be so frightened by the LOUD screams coming from the lady in the blue pajama pants that he will run back under the oven.
Then he will hide there, while he waits for the kitchen to empty of all the noisy people.
When the coast is clear he will run back out.
Then he will notice there is still someone in the kitchen! That same screaming lady....but she's sitting quietly staring at her small phone.
Then he will scurry around her feet as she screams and tries to jump onto the counter or stool or whatever is near by.
He will be relieved that he is not smashed, and make a break for the door. Only to find three children and a DOG!
The small girls run away screaming, one falls and hits her knee. The boy is holding a large yellow ball and throws it at the poor mouse. The dog begins to chase.
Then he will make a quick left hand turn, and disappear down the basement stairs.

HAHA!!! we have 2 mice right now too! one we got rid of with a spider trap (I'll spare you the GORY details of that story, and the other we have yet to catch. hopefully we get the trap set tonight. I am not scared a bit of them, I just don't want to be surprised by them at 3 am in the hallway as they run toward me, realize I am a human, and then immediately spin around and run under the fridge!! AHHHHH!
I was so surprised that I screamed! I had no clue I would react that way....TWICE! I laughed so hard afterward.
Great story! I love the photo to go with it! When we had our new stove delivered at this house, I found a dead mouse behind the old one-I didn't tell the kids, but YUCK! I'm hoping there are no more hiding somewhere in here!
This is a hilarious post! Especially the accompanying picture. The "Mouse" books happen to be favorites of Katie's right now, so we read them often.
I loved your clever post and picture! Sorry about your sneaky mouse on the loose, but Travis and I got a good laugh picturing you jumping around in your blue pajama pants! :)
LOL Poor little mouse. :-) Tell me that wouldn't be TOTALLY scary.... only to seal his fate w/ a tempting piece of cheese. :-( Bad day to be a mouse.
Oh MY. Not as cute as the story books, but awesomely told. The other day I went to welcome in a new scout, and he and his sister walked up and said, "look what we found" and it was a mouse, in the sister's hand, and then she brought it into the house and held it and petted it for 30 minutes while we tried not to be absolutely horrified! No bringing in mouses on purpose!
ok...still laughing at this today! You didn't put in the part about you boy yelling, "Attack! Attack! Attack!!" SO FUNNY!
OH MY heck---im laughing.....just cuz i can relate to the "ATTACK ATTACK.....jacksons words exactly!!!!!
ha ha!
EW---a mouse....but hey, atleast it isn't a snake?
:)
let us know when you FIND him....
your story telling is BEAUTIFUL and so creative and silly!!!
